Seven Tones Project - Celebrating the Music of Duke Ellington

The Seven Tones Project was created by Paul Glenshaw to bring musicians and filmmakers together for virtual collaborations during the COVID pandemic. Danny Webber and I transcribed Duke Ellington's "African Flower" from a televised solo piano performance and arranged the work to be played on nylon and steel string guitars. Our recording was sent to filmmaker, Darroch Greer, who used it as the soundtrack for a visual documentary about Eugene Bullard, the first African-American fighter pilot. We are very honored to be a part of such a special video.
