Maryland State Arts Council Independent Artist Award and Touring Artist Roster
Candice Mowbray has been selected as a recipient of a 2020 Independent Artist Award from the Maryland State Arts Council. Guest Lecturer at Berklee College of Music
In December, Candice Mowbray gave two talks about the guitar in 19th century Europe for students in the Classical Guitar and Repertoire course taught by Berta Rojas and Abigail Zocher at Berklee College of Music. She spoke about the physical characteristics of the guitar as well as key players and composers such as Mauro and Emilia Giuliani, Fernando Sor, Madame Sidney Pratten, and Francisco Tarrega.
