"What a revelation this CD is! It is definitely one of my favorites of the year."–Blair Jackson, Classical Guitar Magazine

With Reverie, classical guitarist Candice Mowbray offers a beautiful program of modern and twentieth-century French works by Laurent Boutros, Arnaud Dumond, Erik Satie, Francis Poulenc, Ida Presti and Alexandre Lagoya as well as popular melodies by Edith Piaf and Claude Nougaro. With many works related by homage, the pieces seem to share an inner connectivity and provide a coherent listening experience from beginning to end. Recorded at Commodore Studios in Thurmont, MD.

Garden Waltz
Featured in Antietam Cable's documentary "A Soldier's View"
Garden Waltz was a home recording project initiated by a request for music to be used for the documentary, A Soldier's View. It is comprised of charming American and European miniatures from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Gathered from the online archives of the United States Library of Congress and journals, this lighthearted treasury of salon music showcases the era's penchants for waltzes and includes a selection of arrangements, character pieces and etudes. It offers a delightful cross section of music that may have been played by skilled, amateur musicians as entertainment during the late 19th century. Although not a studio quality recording, it is special for the pleasant collection of works.
*Pro CD-R disks may not play in some older CD players.

Fairfield Duo
This album includes the world-premiere recording of Richard Zarou's "Ghenani." Commissioned by Candice Mowbray, the piece explores love, memory and loss associated with dementia and aging. The work is touching, introspective and even hypnotic in its use of repetition. Album also includes works by Carulli, Villa-Lobos, Poulenc, Ibert and Tarrega. Especially unique to the Fairfield Duo is their pairing of Japanese shakuhachi flute with classical guitar, included on two pieces by Fukuda Rando.
