With Reverie, classical guitarist Candice Mowbray offers a beautiful program of modern and twentieth-century French works by Laurent Boutros, Arnaud Dumond, Erik Satie, Francis Poulenc, Ida Presti and Alexandre Lagoya as well as popular melodies by Edith Piaf and Claude Nougaro. With many works related by homage, the pieces seem to share an inner connectivity and provide a coherent listening experience from beginning to end. Recorded at Commodore Studios in Thurmont, MD.
