For the WCFL Noteworthy Series in Maryland on December 4, the trio of Candice Mowbray, John Arnold, and Glenn Caluda (all playing Price guitars) performed
to a standing-room only audience and earned an encore.
Mowbray's concert
with flutist Joseph Cunliffe for the Concerts on the Beach series in Bethany Beach on August 6 earned an encore and praise
for a great program. The Grand Concertante by Giuliani, Ravel's Habanera, and Tarrega's Capriccio Arabe
arranged for flute and guitar were especially well received.
Mowbray is featured
in Maryland Public Television's program "Our Town: Hagerstown" which premiered June 14, 2011. Spot includes live performance
and interview as well as footage of the Hagerstown Community College Guitar Ensemble.
Mowbray hosts the 4th Annual Hagerstown Community College Guitar Mini-Fest and performed later that evening with Argentine
guitarist Marcelo Berestovoy. A large and enthusiastic audience demanded an encore from the ensemble that also included Anita
Thomas (bass, clarinet) and Joseph Cunliffe (flute).
