Mowbray is an active chamber musician and performs
with many talented and esteemed musicians from Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, DC, West Virginia, and Virginia. Duo
Classico, the flute and guitar duet of Candice Mowbray and Maryland Symphony Orchestra flutist Susan Mott, has earned coveted
spots on chamber music series' and the enthusiastic recommendation of colleagues. Mowbray's newest ensemble, Duo Claritarre,
features MSO clarinetist Mike Hoover performing programs of an especially French and modern influence. Mowbray
has been a regular guest with the Washington County Recorder Consort and performed works for flute, guitar and voice with
musicians from Julliard. Through a willingness to constantly learn and premiere new repertoire, Mowbray has been part
of many chamber ensembles including cello and guitar duet; flute choir with guitar; handbell choir with guitar; songs for
voice and guitar; oboe and guitar duet; oboe, cello, and guitar trio; guitar duets; guitar quartets; and guitar orchestra.
